Career: CDL Mobile Shred Driver – Chico, CA
Job Summary
A CDL Class B Operator is licensed to drive a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of more than 26,000, but less than 44,000 pounds and operates a Mobile Shred truck (on average) over 75% of the time.
Service and communicate with our clients by performing the delivery and pickup of customer material for secure destruction at a site designated by our clients. The CDL – Mobile Shred Operator has personal responsibility for its secure disposal. Operate vehicles such as straight trucks, and/or mobile shred trucks in order to service the customer in a timely manner while observing all laws and Access Information Management safety rules.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Commercial Drivers License (Class B or higher) with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
- 1-2 years previous face to face customer service experience.
- Committed to excellence in following company policies, procedures, standards and legal requirements.
- Able to pass a security clearance, background check, and drug screen.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Prior Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year prior experience as a courier or service driver or minimum 1 year experience in records management industry.
