Job Summary and Essential Functions
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible to assist in the direction and control of our local operations in the most cost effective and customer-satisfying manner. This will be accomplished through strong leadership and coaching of a high performance team and complying with federal, state, and Company regulations. You will build internal and external relationships through exceptional problem solving, ownership and follow-through. You will establish and consistently meet/exceed department-service goals and objectives. Input will be required to help manage our transportation fleet, including logistics, routing and employee staffing levels. You will be required to manage inventory accuracy and procedural consistency. You will work on a daily basis with operations, transportation, customer service, account management and sales to achieve financial targets.
Experience & Skills:
2 - 5 years business experience with at least 3 years hands-on management of all levels of employees within a service industry is required. Warehouse and inventory experience is highly preferred. P & L experience is helpful. Must possess hands-on people skills with ability to develop employees and build teamwork. Strong verbal and written communication skills and an advanced level of competency working with PC’s & related office programs is essential. High school Diploma or Equivalent ( Degree preferred )
