Access Information Management Announces the Acquisition of Chico Shred and Archive Records Systems

January 07, 2009 - Access Information Management, a national leader in Records & Information Management (RIM) services, has announced the acquisition of Chico Shred and Archives Records Systems (ARS) based in Chico, California. The acquisition is the 19th acquisition made by Access since 2004.

With this acquisition, Access now serves the entire Sacramento Valley, from Modesto to Redding. This expands the company’s California market coverage that already includes Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Southern California. Access will continue to provide records storage, secure mobile (on-site) and plant-based shredding from the Chico facilities and expand services to include media vault storage for vital records and electronic media, Access Online, and digital services including scanning and digital storage.
