PRISMgives Raises $30,000 for Children’s Hunger Relief

July 15, 2009 - PRISMgives, a new charitable arm of PRISM International, co-founded by Access Founder and CEO, Dennis Barnedt, completed the first fundraising event, a cross-country, coast to coast motorcycle ride from Daytona Beach, Florida to Santa Monica, California. The team of seven rode through nine states and covered over 2,700 miles in 7 long days.

The team raised over $30,000 from friends, family and other Information Management Professionals for donation to Action Against Hunger, a crisis response organization that seeks to prevent acute malnutrition in young children around the world.

Access was well represented on the ride with team members Rob Alston and Tayler Robertson joining Dennis Barnedt and fellow PRISM International members. “The seven of us will always share a special bond because of what we did together, it was a challenging and extremely rewarding experience,” stated Dennis Barnedt.
